GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — For more than a decade Crash’s Landing in Grand Rapids has been providing a home to stray or abandoned cats and those who may not last long in a traditional shelter. A sister sanctuary called Big Sid’s opened it’s door a short while later and focused solely on cats that were FIV or FELV positive – a diagnosis that might previously have been a death sentence for the animal. Volunteer Angie stopped by FOX 17 with a couple “Sid’s Kids” to talk about volunteer opportunities, tours and the need for donations.
