MASON, OH (WXIX FOX 19, June 14, 2014)- Firefighters were dispatched Saturday morning to Kings Island’s indoor roller coaster Flight of Fear after an electrical panel started smoking.

Thick smoke was reported at about 10:35 a.m. coming from a panel outside the building, Kings Island spokesman Don Helbig said. Twitter users posted photos of the smoke billowing over the Flight of Fear building.

Helbig said crews responded quickly and the damage was limited to the electrical panel.

The ride remains operational.

No flames or injuries were reported
