ZEELAND, Mich. (May 10, 2014)– One man is dead after an industrial accident that happened at around 2am Saturday morning, that’s according to mLive.
Ottawa County Sheriff officers responded to the scene at Hillshire Farms on 96th Ave. According to mLive, authorities said a 49-year-old man from Grand Rapids was trapped in a conveyer belt within the facility. He was freed by firefighters, who also attempted CPR. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation and the victim’s name and information is being with held, pending family notification.
