GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — (May 10, 2014) A cold front that moved through Friday night has ushered in some cooler and more pleasant weather for the start of the weekend. If you are headed out to the Fifth Third River Bank Run in Downtown Grand Rapids you should have pretty comfortable running weather.
Temperatures will start out slightly cool into the upper 40’s but once the sun comes up temperatures will warm quickly into the upper 50’s and 60’s by late morning/early afternoon. Winds will be light out of the west but pick up towards afternoon with gusts reaching near 25 miles per hour.
Dry weather sticks around for the day and throughout the first half of Mother’s Day with chances for showers and thunderstorms increasing by afternoon and early evening.
