Arrests Made In Shooting Of Muskegon Heights Basketball Player

MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. (April 24, 2014) — Two arrests have been made in Wednesday night’sshooting death of Marquis Gresham. The persons of interest are two men from Muskegon (ages 19 and 20), that’s according to the Muskegon Heights Police Department.

Gresham, 17, was on his way to the Muskegon Heights High School baseball banquet when he was shot during what witnesses described as a fight among six or seven people.

Police Chief Lynne Gill said nothing more would be released before talking to the prosecutor’s office and issuing a formal release.
