MUSKEGON COUNTY, Mich (April 15, 2014) – Testimony from an alleged eyewitness to the shooting death of 18-year-old Kentae Jones helped a judge decide there was probable cause that Isiah Amoz Spears may have committed the murder.

Isiah Amoz Spears

Spears was bound over for trial in 14th Circuit Court after the witness testified on Monday.

Jones was shot and killed in the 2400 block of Sixth Street on January 24, 2013.  Spears is charged with open murder, and is also charged as a third-offense habitual offender.

Prosecutors say the investigative subpoena process helped authorities obtain witness testimony that was needed to file charges in the case.
