WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 31, 2014) — Rep. Dave Camp announced Monday that he will not seek re-election in November.
Camp, a Republican who represents Michigan’s 4th Congressional District, is also the chair of the House Ways and Means Committee.
“Serving in Congress is the great honor of my professional life,” he said in a release. “I am deeply grateful to the people of the 4th Congressional District for placing their trust in me.”
Camp, 60, has served in Congress since 1991.
