SEPANG, Malaysia ( March 15, 2014)- The prime minister of Malaysia said Saturday the missing jetliner was diverted on purpose, that’s according to the New York Times.
Prime Minister Najib Razak reportedly told the New York Times that Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 left it’s scheduled route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing early. Investigators said someone on board changed course deliberately and knew how to avoid civilian radar.
The jet went missing on March 7th with 239 people on board.
