KALAMAZOO, Mich. (March 5, 2014) — Wednesday marks three months since Teleka Patrick was last seen, and her family is reaching out through social media. They are asking people to join them in wearing Teleka’s favorite color, red, and join them in prayer.
“Three months of sadness, loss, tears, questions, prayers, hope, despair, ambivalence, fear, disappointment, pain, faith, and longing,” said Teleka’s sister, Tenesha, on the Find Teleka Facebook page. “Teleka is still missing and we still have no answers.”
Tenesha goes on to talk about what she will be doing to remember her sister on this day and asks the public to join her.
“I will be wearing red, Teleka’s favorite color. It represents the vibrancy she exudes […] I will be praying for a breakthrough- she’d be doing the same if the situation was switched. I invite you to rock your red and join us in praying for our child/sister. Share favorite memories and experiences. Remember the gift that Teleka is. We know she will come home again.”
Teleka Patrick went missing in of Kalamazoo County in December, and there has been no sign of her since her car was found abandoned in Indiana.
