ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. (Feb. 21, 2014) – An Allegan County Sheriff’s deputy suffered minor injuries after a crash during treacherous driving conditions.
Photos were sent to FOX 17 by Aaron Meredith showing a sheriff’s deputy’s cruiser in a crash at 147th Avenue and 40th Street in Overisel Friday morning. We have more on the conditions across the area in ourlive weather blog.
Meantime, the Allegan County Sheriff’s Department sent a news release asking drivers to stay off the roads:
Deputies and Troopers are responding to numerous crashes, several involving injuries, on the northwest side of Allegan County. Visiblity is zero in many places. Please stay off the roads on the NW side of Allegan County until wind subsides. I am aware of road closures at 58th St. Between 136th Ave. and 138th Ave. and 147th Ave and 40th.
