GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Feb. 20, 2014) — Police are looking for the person who hit a pedestrian and drove away from the scene early Thursday morning.
The accident happened shortly before 3:00 a.m. at 28th Street and Birchcrest Drive in Grand Rapids. Police say a man was walking on the side of the street when he was struck by an SUV, possibly a blue Jeep Liberty.
The victim was said to have suffered critical injuries. Police are asking the public to call in with any tips: 616-456-3604.
