GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Feb 5, 2014) — The prolonged period of accumulating snow and very cold temperatures is going to take a brief break starting Wednesday.
This image from our in-house computer model, Future Track, shows virtually no snow accumulation for the next 48 hours. Further, temperatures are going to moderate as well. Highs will be in the 20s and 30s for the next week. There are no subzero low temperatures in the forecast after tonight.
Snowfall this season has topped 100 inches in many locations in West Michigan, including Muskegon. Grand Rapids total is 92.2 inches.
