KENTWOOD, Mich (Feb. 9, 2014) – A 23-year-old Wyoming woman was killed Sunday after a two-vehicle crash on 29th Street in Kent County.
The crash happened around noon when a car driven by 23-year-old Devon Capman crashed into a van. His wife Sarah, the passenger, was killed.
The road was closed between East Paris Avenue and Acquest Drive until about 4 p.m.
According to police Capman lost control of his vehicle and swerved into the westbound lane, striking the van. He was injured but has since been released from the hospital.
The driver of the van suffered minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation by Kentwood Police Department.
