BATTLE CREEK, Mich (February 7, 2014) – Two men are recovering in the hospital, one of them from stab wounds, after a street fight in Battle Creek on Friday.

The altercation took place in the area of Briarhill Drive and Riverside Drive around 5:30 p.m.

Investigators say a 36-year-old man that was involved is the ex-boyfriend of a 59-year-old’s daughter, who was also involved.

Police say there were allegations the 36-year-old had assaulted the 59-year-old’s daughter, leading to the physical confrontation.
