MIDDLEBURY, Ind. — Photos of prison escapee Michael Elliot at a gas station in Lagrange County, Ind. were released by local police Monday.
Elliot escaped from an Ionia prison, abducted a woman, and was last seen leaving the Indiana gas station in the woman’s Jeep Liberty. The woman had hidden in the station’s rest room and is safe.
The surveillance images show Elliot inside the gas station’s convenience store calmly waiting in line. He was described by police as wearing black pants, white sweater, white scarf around his neck, white tennis shoes, and a blue winter coat.
