KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Update: According to the Kalamazoo Public Safety Office Leslie Dodson has been found safe.
Earlier police were looking for a missing person that was last seen near his house in the in 1800 block of Waite St.
Leslie Dodson suffers from dementia. He is best described as: White male 6’ 1” / 190 lbs, grey hair, clean shaven and physically fit. He was wearing a heavy orange jacket, brown corduroy pants, black boots (with silver duct-tape on them), dark gloves and a blue hat.
Upon initial investigation it appears that Dodson was shoveling snow and wondered away from the area, last seen near Waite St and Benjamin St at approximately 1:30 pm. Officers have been searching the area since he was reported missing.
