STANTON, Mich. — Two people were arraigned Tuesday on charges related to a meth lab standoff in Greenville.
John Vogl II, 42, of Greenville, and 22-year-old Cassandra Kidder, of Wayland, are both currently lodged in the Montcalm County Jail, according to officials.
A 17-year-old male was also arrested in the case, but has not yet been formally charged.
According to Greenville Department of Public Safety crews, Michigan State Police received complaints Sunday morning about a possible meth lab in the 8000 block of Eastern Ave. When police arrived on scene, the residents inside the home would not come out and fire crews were called to scene for a possible fire inside the home.
When the fire crews and Michigan State Police emergency services arrived on scene, the residents did not come out of the house until 1 p.m. Sunday afternoon. The Michigan State Emergency Management team found a working one pot cook meth lab.
No injuries were reported.
