The homeowner reported $120 was stolen from his pants Saturday morning, then again on Wednesday or Thursday with other $400 missing.

Police say the homeowner set up a camera system and left his pants again with $55.  He says when he woke up on Saturday, he found $15 missing.

Police say he checked the camera and found pictures of the 74-year-old who is known to the victim.   The victim says that his wife sat twenty feet away with her back to the suspect as she watched television.

After completing a search warrant on the suspects home, the man was arrested on home invasion charges. The first degree charge stems from the presence of residents in the home during the invasion.

Police say they also found drug residue in the home and that it appears the suspect went to Four Winds Casino in Hartford immediately after leaving the victims home.
