GRAND RAPIDS, Mich- Over 100 entrepreneurs, designers, developers and start-up enthusiasts are in downtown Grand Rapids participating in a 54-hour Startup Marathon.
The fifth annual Start-up Marathon is an intense 54-hour event that will turn ideas of entrepreneurs into full-blown businesses. The Startup Marathon started Friday night and will last until Sunday night.
During the Startup Marathon, guests will be listen to an address by Michigan Governor Rick Snyder as well as speakers including Dr. David Rosen, president of Kendall College of Art & Design at Ferris State University, Benjamin Gott, founder of Boxed Water, and Scott Daigger, product manager at Spectrum Health Innovations.
The Startup Marathon is being held at The Factory on Fulton Street in Downtown Grand Rapids.
