BARRYTON, Mich. — A married couple died Thursday night when their vehicle left the road west of this Mecosta County town.
The crash took place around 9:45 p.m. on 19 Mile Road near 60th Avenue. The vehicle was eastbound when it went off the road and down an embankment “filled with rocks and trees,” said the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Department.
Gerald Jordan, 72, and his wife Alice, 78, both of Barryton, were dead at the scene.
