BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — According to a message on the school’s answering machine, Beadle Lake Elementary has closed for Thursday due to a potential gas leak.
The message informs callers that students are being bussed home. If there is not an adult at home, students will go to the high school cafeteria while parents are contacted.
They anticipate school will be back in session on Friday.
