WEST OLIVE, Mich. — According to a news release from the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, allegations of inappropriate conduct have been brought forward against a Corrections Officer who is assigned to jail operations.
It is alleged that the male corrections officer conducted himself inappropriately with a female inmate while working in a correctional capacity with the department.
As a result the corrections officer has been officially suspended from duty pending the completion of an internal investigation.
