Sunshine And Warmer Temperatures Return

Posted

WEST MICHIGAN — Clearing skies and calm winds this morning allowed temperatures to drop into the upper 20’s and low 30’s across West Michigan making for a frosty start to the day. The sun however came out an hour earlier thanks to the time change and helped warm temperatures quickly. Light winds out of the east today will allow for a dry day with sunshine and high temperatures warming into the upper 40’s and low 50’s.

Mostly clear skies and calm winds tonight will lead to a chilly start to Monday morning as temperatures will fall into the low 30’s and upper 20’s. Clouds will generally be on the increase Monday as warmer air moves into the Great Lakes however we should stay completely dry for all of Monday.

Rain chances return by Tuesday as scattered showers ahead of a potent cold front. Moderate to heavy rain could once again be possible Wednesday as a cold front swings through Michigan. Temperatures behind the front are looking slightly warmer than previously though therefor snow chances for the end of the week have been removed.
