RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department has now identified the driver in the erratic driving crash that occurred on Friday.
The Sheriff’s Department says 56-year-old Ezell Gilland of Kalamazoo was the driver who was killed. According to officials, 911 dispatchers were receiving calls about an erratic driver swerving in and out of lanes and running cars off of the road before causing a minor crash at ‘G’ Avenue and 33rd and then crashing head-on on North 32nd right in front of the Richland Township Fire Department.
