BLOOMINGTON, IN (CNN/ FOX59) — Authorities ended the lockdown at the Indiana University campus early Sunday, a four-hour alert spurred by reports of a man with a knife.
Two men have been have been arrested in this incident.
The lockdown stemmed from an incident at 4 a.m., when three men — all students — were involved in a fight at an on-campus building, said Mark Land, the university’s associate vice president of communications.
“One of the people involved in the fight pulled a knife and slashed another person. That individual was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries,” Land said.
The university then issued a tweet saying that an “armed individual” is “at large on campus” and that people should take shelter.
The victims condition is unknown at this time.
