TORRANCE, Calif. — Toyota said Thursday that the company needs to replace wiper switches in about 10,000 Camrys, Avalons, and Corollas.
All the cars in the recall, including hybrid versions of these models, are from the 2013 and 2014 model years.
The company said the problem was with contacts in the switches that were made incorrectly. The wipers could be disabled by a short in the switch.
