WEST MICHIGAN — A cold front is moving across the state this morning bringing with it much cooler temperatures and rain showers. Temperatures Sunday morning started out fairly warm in the upper 60’s however once the front moves in temperatures drop quickly. Temperatures in Benton Harbor and Holland dropped around ten degrees from upper 60’s to upper 50’s behind the front in less than an hour. Temperatures throughout the day will actually fall as cooler air filters in behind the front with temperatures in the afternoon falling into the low 60’s.
Rain showers will continue on this afternoon as well, prompting Flood Watches to be issued through Monday morning. Rain will be heaviest in early afternoon and gradually come to an end by late evening. Monday may start dry initially but more rain will move in later on in the day.
