911 Call Released in Trooper Butterfield Shooting

LUDINGTON, Mich. —  The 911 call from the shooting death of Michigan State Police Trooper Paul Butterfield was released Friday.

Eric Knysz  is accused of killing Butterfield Sept. 9 during a traffic stop.  He was charged Sept. 13 with the murder, and his pregnant wife Sarah was also charged as an accessory and for allegedly stealing a vehicle.  Both of those charges carry five year sentences.

Other charges against Eric include felony firearm possession, carrying a concealed weapon and stealing a vehicle. He was also charged as a second-time habitual offender because of a 2008 home invasion conviction.
