CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. — The Michigan Department of Community Health released a report on the 2010 Enbridge oil spill Monday, saying there shouldn’t be any harm to people’s health in the long term.

The report totaled 78 pages and can be found at

It examined chemical levels in the Kalamazoo River’s surface water and fish in Calhoun and Kalamazoo counties.

It was in 2010 that Enbridge’s oil pipeline burst, spilling more than 840,000 gallons of oil into the environment with thousands of that going into the Kalamazoo River and other waterways.
