Wednesday Forecast: Just a Few Clouds

Posted

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Some high, thin clouds will be the worst thing we deal with during the weather forecast Wednesday, continuing a trend of very quiet conditions through the first week of fall in West Michigan.

Sunshine will still filter through those clouds, with temperatures climbing back above 70° in most locations in the afternoon.

The warming trend will continue through the remainder of the week, despite average high temperatures that dip below 70° in Grand Rapids for the first time since mid-May.  Highs will be around 80° both Friday and Saturday.

Wednesday is also the last day of the season with more than 12 hours of daylight; we’ll continue to lose two or three minutes of daylight each day as we continue into autumn.

Dry weather will hold on until late Saturday night and early Sunday morning.  You can check that out in the 7 Day Forecast on the Weather page.
