PORTAGE, Mich. — Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident in which someone crashed into a church and drove away, but not before leaving a note for the pastor.
The crash happened at around 3:00 a.m. at a church on East Milham in Portage. Officers passing by had noticed damage to the building, and determined that a vehicle had struck the building and drove off.
According to Portage Police, the driver left a note with contact information.
Building inspectors will be out later to look at the damage.
