KALAMAZOO, Mich- One man was taken to Bronson Hospital after being shot at a party near Western Michigan University.
According to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, a man was shot outside of a house in the 3400 block of W. Michigan Ave. near WMU.
When officers arrived on scene they found one woman with a back injury, but was not shot but instead was possibly hit with flying glass. She was taken to Bronson Hospital for treatment and released.
The man suffered a gun-shot wound to the leg. The injury is believed to be non-life threatening.
