KALAMAZOO, Mich. — John Kovach will spend between 20 and 32 years behind bars after pleading guilty to shooting his wife after an argument in June.
Kovach pleaded guilty to second-degree murder Monday, which carries a sentence of 18-30 years. A 2-year felony firearm charge was also part of the plea agreement.
On June 17, Kovach shot and killed his wife Nancy in their home after an argument.
