GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Seasonably cool weather conditions have returned to West Michigan, just in time for the start of the new school year for most students.
After a gloomy and chilly Labor Day, some improvement is expected during the day Tuesday. Lingering clouds will continue to break up, and a lighter breeze will make it feel a little warmer, even though actual high temperatures are only expected to climb a couple of degrees. Most of the area will reach the mid 70s in the afternoon.
Cool nights and comfortable afternoons will continue through the rest of the week. Wednesday will be a little warmer during the day, but a cold front will knock temperatures back down temporarily on Thursday.
Dry weather is expected to hold until the weekend. You can check out the full 7 Day Forecast on the Weather page.
