Hot And Humid Labor Day Weekend

Posted

WEST MICHIGAN — A mostly sunny start to Friday as clouds will gradually start to increase ahead of a weak frontal boundary. A passing frontal boundary will bring a chance for showers and thunderstorms to develop in late afternoon and early evening Friday. No severe weather is expected however some storms that develop could bring heavy rain causing a flash flooding concern especially in those areas east of US 131 where heavy rain fell earlier this week.

Temperatures this weekend will remain warm and humid as the weak boundary will have little to no effect on temperatures. Afternoon highs will remain in the mid to upper 80’s through the weekend however a more potent cold front Sunday will bring more rain chances and much cooler and more comfortable conditions by Labor Day Monday.
