LEELANAU COUNTY, Mich. — Authorities say a father and his three children were found safe near the Sleeping Bear Dunes in Glen Haven late this evening. We have a crew at the scene and will have a live update for you on FOX 17 News at Ten.
A domestic assault warrant was issued earlier in the day for the 50-year-old father that was reported missing along with his three children near Sleeping Bear Dunes in Glen Haven.
According to WWTV, the man’s wife made a domestic abuse call in Emmet County at 10:35 a.m. Sunday morning. His silver BMW was found near a dune trail close to the Maritime Museum in Glen Haven Monday. The children, two girls, ages 14 and 10, and a boy, age nine, are believed to be with him.
