GRANDVILLE, Mich. — Grandville High School’s head football coach will still be coaching the first game of the 2013 season despite some personnel issues with him that were brought to the administration’s attention.

According to Superintendent Ron Caniff, action has already been taken against Michael Lapciuk after he and other administrators were approached with “concerns” about him.  He would not specify the specific measures taken, but did say that Lapciuk would still be coaching the team’s first game Thursday against Jenison.
