GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — After getting back to average highs for the first time in more than a week Saturday, temperatures will continue to gradually climb for the beginning of the new week.
High pressure and dry air will continue to rule the weather pattern around the Great Lakes. This will mean overnight temperatures will still remain comfortable, and humidity levels will only increase slightly to round out the weekend.
Highs should make it between 80 and 85 degrees for most of West Michigan Sunday, then jump into the mid to upper 80s for the first half of the week. Rain chances should hold off until Wednesday night or Thursday at the earliest, making a full week since the last rainfall in Grand Rapids. In the meantime, highs will approach 90 degrees on Wednesday into Thursday, with more humid conditions returning.
