IONIA,Mich. — According to the Ionia County Circuit Court,Keith Thibeault will spend the rest of his life in prison without the possibility of parole for killing his 3-month-old son.
Thibeault was sentenced Tuesday, Aug. 13 after being found guilty of first-degree murder in June. He was also found guilty of child abuse.
In September 2012, Thibeault pleaded not guilty to a felony first-degree murder charge. He was accused of killing his 3-month-old son Everette in March 2012, when he was supposed to be taking care of both Everette and his twin brother. Thibeault had blamed the injuries on a fall from a couch.
