NORTH PLAINS TOWNSHIP, Mich.– Nineteen-year-old Kelsey Pung called 911 after she hit 17-year-old Kelsey Megliola in the early morning hours of July 21.
Neighbors say there was a party in the area the night before. Police say Megliola was walking down the road when Pung hit her.
She was charged in late July. Michigan State Police are still finishing their investigation. The Ionia County Prosecutor says more charges could be coming depending on the outcome of the investigation. Police are still waiting on autopsy and toxicology reports.
Pung will face a jury in September.
