A Driver Without A License Fled From Police On Foot And Caught In Foot ChaseGRAND RAPIDS,Mich. — According to a Press Release from the city of Grand Rapids: At around 10:45am on Wednesday, a vehicle crash caused the top of a power pole to actually break loose and fall, setting the pole top on fire, and taking out one of the main circuit-breakers back at the substation.

This particular circuit does provide power to a large number of traffic signals on the east and south side of Grand Rapids.

We are recommending that all vehicles treat each of these signalized intersections as “four-way stop”, while we work to solve this problem.

We are at work on the solution, and hoping to be back in full service within the next 2 hours.
