GRAND RAPIDS,Mich. — The Grand Rapids fire department responded to a house fire in the 1200 block of Orville SE just before 11:30 on Tuesday. According to the fire department the fire was put out within minutes and everyone made it out of the home safely. According to the department firefighters did have some trouble accessing the second floor due to excess items blocking the entryways. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
