KALAMAZOO, Mich — The Taste and Brew! of Kalamazoo begins Thursday, July 25.
Gates open at 11 a.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and stay open until 12:30 a.m. Thursday, and 1:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
You can pick up food and beverage tickets for $.50 each, and the items available for purchase range from $.50 to $4. The variety is huge- the festival says online that you can find food from “Africa, China, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Caribbean, and all points in between.”
There is also live music each day. Thursday it all starts at 6 p.m., and Friday and Saturday it begins at noon. The Kari Lynch band starts off the Saturday performances, while Grammy winner Buddy Guy will play at 10 p.m.
The event happens each year during the fourth weekend of July, from Thursday through Saturday. Proceeds benefit local charities.
