GRATTAN, Mich. — A collision between a car and a motorcycle left 20-year-old man rider dead Wednesday morning.
The crash took place around 6:30 a.m. near 6349 Lincoln Lake Avenue, which is between Belding Road and 7 Mile in Grattan Township.
A pickup truck traveling northbound on Lincoln Lake Avenue had stopped to turn into a driveway when the motorcyclist crashed into the side of the truck. The driver of the truck was unhurt.
Emergency personnel used CPR when they arrived but got no pulse, according to scanner traffic between the crews and dispatchers.
Lincoln Lake Avenue was closed during the crash investigation.
