AUSTRALIA — An inventor has come up with a way to enjoy the beach, and then leave the sand behind.

It’s a new kind of beach towel called the Sandusa, that’s sand-resistant and waterproof. One side is cotton and terrycloth, and the other side is nylon, with a waterproof layer in between.

The product is found at a funding website calledIndiegogo, and the founder’s hoping to raise $50,000 on the website to put it on store shelves. You can donate to the cause online if you want your own Sandusa.
