KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A 22-year-old Portage man accused of making a false 911 call that led to the evacuation of The Crossroads mall last week was arraigned Monday in Kalamazoo District Court.
Mitchell Meister was charged with making a false report of terrorism and resisting and obstructing a police officer.
The Crossroads was evacuated Friday evening following a false tip. Meister’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 29.
