Chase Bank Theft Marks Third Grand Rapids Robbery in Three Days

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The robbery of the Chase Bank at 1100 Michigan St. NE marks the third Grand Rapids bank robbery in as many days.

According to police, a man slipped the teller a note at roughly 2:43 p.m Wednesday, July 3, and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. Police say the man is Hispanic, between the ages of 18 and 25, around 120 or 130 lbs. and about 5 foot 8 inches tall.  He was wearing an Orlando Magic baseball hat and had on black sunglasses.
