ALPINE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A man was injured on Monday morning in what police are calling a hit-and-run crash, and they’re still looking for the vehicle that left the scene of the accident.
It happened shortly before 7:00 a.m. at 6 Mile and Peach Ridge Avenue in Kent County’s Alpine Township.
According to deputies, a newer black Ford Focus failed to yield, and pulled out in front of the path of the motorcycle. The rider suffered minor injuries. He was wearing a helmet.
As for the Focus, police say it will have driver’s side rear quarter-panel damage. Anyone with information is asked to call the Kent County Sheriff’s Office at 616-632-6100.
