MONTAGUE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The woman who was killed in a motorcycle-car crash at around 4:40 p.m. Thursday has been identified as 58-year-old Cathy Ann Duryee, according to Michigan State Police.

The crash also sent the driver of the Harley Davidson motorcycle, 58-year-old James Duryee, to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police say that James lost control of his motorcycle as a truck was turning out in front of them on Fruitvale Road near Lamos Road.  After further investigation into the crash, police have determined that alcohol was not a factor. Both James and Cathy Duryee were wearing helmets.
