One More Cool Night Before Heat Builds

Posted

WEST MICHIGAN — (FOX 17) — Low temperatures on the morning of Wednesday, June 19 were in the 40’s across West Michigan. Although it will be another comfortable night Wednesday night, some heat and humidity are on the way later this week.

This image from our in-house computer model, Future Track, shows about where temperatures will end up Thursday morning.  This appears to be the last cool night for several days. By Friday and into the weekend, temperatures and humidity levels will rise.  FOX 17 is forecasting high temperatures near 90º this weekend. If this verifies, it will be Grand Rapids’ and Kalamazoo’s first 90º temperature of the year.  However,  Holland already hit 90º on both May 19 and 20.

With the heat and humidity this weekend, there will be chances for some showers and thunderstorms. For the latest on when to expect the rain, join us on FOX 17 News, or visit the weather page at www.fox17online.com/weather
